It’s a new year and today, January 7th, the weather is something interesting. It is currently 59ºF. A few days ago it was 9ºF.
1) I had this almost new $3,000+ Lilian August/Drexel Heritage couch.. and after 1 month of eBay and another month on Craigslist… no one wanted it, even for free… so I threw it out.
I’m not sure if that’s interesting, but it’s definitely a shame. When I was living in the city, we scored all of our furniture off the street. I threw out a $3K couch …while someone somewhere was fleeing the rubble they used to know as home.
2) It’s a grinder? (I like the lighting)
3) Speaking of rubble; a few days before Christmas I went to the post office to mail some cards. I noticed a stamp display with “holiday” stamps within… At the very top of the display were these stamps:
At the very bottom of the display were Purple Heart stamps. Whatever EID is…my dyslexic first glance read IED Greetings. Do these stamps resemble a Christmas Tree to you? I wonder if there is something fundamentally wrong with the stamps, the timing of their issuance and the placement of them within the stamp display at a United States Post Office? When questioned, a postal worker said: Ironically, they were issued the Christmas season following 9/11.
Someone let me know what it says on the tree, please.
I wonder what sheep think about their shepherd. Oh, that’s right.. .they’re sheep – they don’t think.

4) Who is Skyler Knight?
-
5) Before the life-size version, he made a miniature. Isn’t it cute. When the child was 3 years old, he made her a swing. When she turned 16, he memorialized it. Capisce?
Peace and hope for health and prosperity to all…. to those awarded the Purple Heart as well as those with the Arabic Christmas Tree stamps.
